Knipp (Knop, Knip, Knipe)

Knipp was originally spelled Knöp or Knöpp. The name was Anglicized to Knipp and variants such as Knip, Nipp, Nepp, and possibly Knipe.

Varner (Verner) Knipp was originally from about 30 miles northwest of Frankfort in the Palatine Region of Germany.
